Shashlik is a popular Eastern European and Middle Eastern dish consisting of skewered and grilled meat and veggies, like a shish kebab! Skewers of meat such as pork, beef, chicken or lamb, marinated in a mixture of ingredients like onion juice, vinegar, and spices before being grilled over an open flame.
