Curious about RFID and how it works?

RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification Device. All of our day lift and season pass cards at Canyon Ski Resort will now include an RFID antenna in a small plastic card. This antenna communicates with and activates the new gates, granting you access to our lifts. If you’ve visited some mountain resorts recently, you may already be familiar with this type of access system, as it’s also utilized in hotel key cards and tap-enabled credit and debit cards.

Wondering how RFID benefits you as a guest?

RFID technology offers new convenience when accessing the ski hill! You can purchase your cards online, pick them up from our automated kiosks, and reload them online as many times as you like. Simply keep the card in your pocket, eliminating the need to fumble with attaching lift tickets or season passes. Enjoy a smoother, more efficient experience on the slopes with RFID!
